Store brands are an interesting thing. For me. Because I’m in Marketing. Probably not for you.
See, the thing about Store brands is they are made by some other manufacturer, slapped on with a different label, and then sold at a lower price point.

So if you buy Great Value (Walmart) brand Chocolate Sandwich cookies, and Kraft has a deal with Walmart to get more space on the shelf, then you’re basically buying Oreos at a lower price.
The fun thing is when Kraft loses that deal and instead it’s taken over by someone else. Then you, the customer, are still buying the same brand name yet it’s made differently.
Granted Oreo’s don’t taste THAT different from regular other Sandwich cookies. Take it from me. Fatty knows his cookies.
