Sweden. A land like no other.

Or some others. So much that I can’t really make many Swedish jokes about their culture because it’ll sound like I have no idea what I”m talking about.

Like, a moose? We have that. Good Hockey teams? So does Finland (and Canada). A funny language? Really? Have you seen English? It’s ridiculous.

Tons of snow, beautiful women, blondes… geez, I’ve run out of funny things, and I just started.

But what they do have is Mackmyra. It is a Swedish single malt whisky distillery named after the village and manor of the same name. Established in the heady days of 1998 at a winter resort. It’s… mostly very rich people who wanted to make their own single malt.

Everything (save the yeast) is sourced from 75 miles around Mackmyra. No additives, no additional colour. Also they typically release everything at Cask strength… except the…
