High West Rendezvous Rye

Screw it. Let’s go on a kick.

No, not a Rye kick, though given the last whiskey I reviewed was also High West, and was also mostly rye, who would blame you for thinking that?

Pol Pot, that’s who.

No, instead I’m going for a few whiskies from High West. And sadly enough, I’ve missed out on one of their core line. Today I’m reviewing High West Rendezvous Rye.

But what is it? Well it’s alcohol.

So that’s done, let’s move… oh, wait, what’s it made up of. That’s more of a better question.

So this whiskey is a blend of two different straight rye whiskies: LDI and Barton are the sources.

Again, I’m blown away at the quality of the distiller. Other distilleries just go to one of them and laze about and stuff. I guess. I don’t really know. And no…
