Glenrothes is one of those distilleries that I swear I’ve had quite a bit of, and in fact, haven’t had much at all.

Not for lack of trying, mind you. Currently there’s some Glenrothes at the LCBO. If they were approachable, I may even consider them.

Sadly they are not. But that’s more on my wallet than on Glenrothes.

Glenrothes 1995 is from their year series, for lack of a better word. You’ll find different ones pop up each year. The year denotes the year they were distilled, and you have to hunt around the package to find out how old they are.

This one is 19 years old . They all come in the cool, ball shaped whisky jug that I assume is either really easy or really hard to pour out of. Feel free to comment if you’ve poured one, I’m at…
