TWS CANADIAN SINGLE MALTS OF THE YEAR

So after a full day of tasting, finding winners of 4 categories and 2 sub-categories, We had to determine our overall winners. 7 finalists were compared blind head-to-head and re-ranked to find our winners for the year.

  1. I see Two Brewers 36 won a silver in its category. How can Two Brewers 36, a silver medal whisky win best single malt?

    1. That was a weird anomaly for sure! The panelists of the original categories were split in half, and batch 36 was a VERY close 2nd in the finished category. Then when the full group came together for the finals, the other group must have preferred it overall more than the original half. Weird but that’s just how the rankings came out!
