Springbank Distillery Tour

So I just arrived in Scotland the day before, and while the journey was rather long I’ve finally made it to Campbeltown! So after a fun night of good seafood and whisky with my dad at the Ardshiel Hotel it’s now time for the main attraction that most visitors of the white sandy shores of Campbeltown are keen to enjoy, the whisky tours! For the … Continue reading Springbank Distillery Tour

Longrow 9 2007 Sauternes & Longrow 15 2001 Chardonnay/Bourbon Single Cask

Thanks /u/Orehnmadgib for pouring these for me. Continuing on with a different type of review series, I had a bunch of Campbeltown samples, felt like I wanted to review more of them, and put two and two together and didn’t end up with three. Longrow 14 Fresh Sherry Springbank Society

Thanks to /u/xile_ for sharing this dram. The Springbank Society is an ancient order who dedicates themselves to the great old ones who happen to enjoy whisky and eventually will douse the world in madness. That’s a lie based on a mixture of truth and a psychological horror genre that has grown in the last few years. You will not go insane by drinking this. Well, unless… Continue reading Longrow 14 Fresh Sherry Springbank Society

Toronto Whisky Society’s <10yr/NAS Social Event

It was a slightly windy day in First Spring when the TWS (owners of this here website and such) had a good ol’ tastin’. We headed to Dupont, set out the nicest crackers, dark chocolates, and cheesey-poofs, and invited everyone. Entry? Well … Continue reading Toronto Whisky Society’s <10yr/NAS Social Event
