We’ve worked with a ton of brands over the years, but Diageo was a tough nut to crack as we couldn’t get a consistent contact to work with. Diageo distilleries showed up frequently in our line-ups as independently bottled expressions, but never OBs.

We picked up a bunch of LEs from a local collector and decided we’d just run an event on our own without the brand, but then fortunately Ben Lemieux from Diageo offered to come share insights into them and brought a couple extra bottles too!

The end result was a massive line-up of mainly cask strength expressions that our members got to enjoy for free, while getting some fun stories and insights into the brands and their stories.

Started off with some non-peated expressions, including the first LE release from Roseisle, a gorgeous Oban LE and the always spectacular Caol Ila unpeated LEs

Next was a trio from Talisker: the base 10, Port Ruighe and the 8yr LE from 2021.

And finally three Lagavulins, including the base 8, Distiller’s Edition from 2014 and 12CS from 2014 as well:
